This traditional magnetic transducer consists of a coil, magnet, and vibrating diaphragm, and requires an external drive circuit. Known for its simple design, low cost, and low voltage operation (3–24V), it offers high reliability but has a limited frequency range, less tonal flexibility, and lower SPL compared to piezo sounders. Commonly used in home appliance alerts, alarms, and toys.
